Join Dana Frank, author of Get Up and Get it On: A Black Entrepreneur's Lessons on Creating Legacy and Wealth, for a conversation with Edna Primrose '84, TU Foundation president, about what it means to be a multi-faceted entrepreneur. Frank, a celebrated entrepreneur and third-generation steward of her family's apartment rental business, will share key strategies from her book, which offers readers practical steps to rewrite the narrative of their financial futures, regardless of the circumstances they were born into.

Advancing Women in the Workplace Workshop

During this two-day workshop, women will assess their strengths and values to align themselves to their leadership purpose, while also building a network of supporters to advance their leadership and to champion the success of women across the workforce. Participants will hear from leaders who are champions work/life balance to advance themselves in the workplace.

Deadline approaching: Professional Leadership Program for Women

This signature program is for women leaders who seek to gain new professional insights, added self-confidence, and the capacity to immediately impact their organizations and communities in powerful, positive ways. Participants have shared the impact the program has had on them:

Dawn Collins founded the 2nd Lieutenant Richard W. Collins, III Foundation to honor her son. She enrolled in the program to 'learn how to be the most effective leader she could be for the work she does in her son’s honor.'

Lauren Eaton, Itineris, credits this program with giving her the tools and added confidence to take the leap and go for a promotion. She got the promotion!

This program helped Valencia Hike, Baltimore Orioles, to break through past prejudices and to understand and celebrate her strengths, while gaining powerful tools to benefit her teams.
