Maryland gains jobs, unemployment up

According to the most recent report, Maryland gained a total of 7,800 nonfarm (5,900 private, 1,900 government) jobs across January and February 2024. Despite these new jobs, the state's unemployment rate increased to 2.4 percent in February.
