Engage TU Newsletter

Towson University is proud to be a community-engaged campus. Through BTU—Partnerships at Work for Greater Baltimore, faculty, students, and staff are working with non-profits to create positive impacts in our communities. The Regional Economic Studies Institute is producing independent research on disparities in Baltimore City to help non-profits and other organizations identify opportunities to better support residents. For many non-profits, the ‘where’ factor is central, but an easily undervalued part of their story. TU's Center for GIS is collaborating with local non-profits and using GIS technology to put them on the map to emphasize their community connections.
