2021 was a year of transitions for TU’s Division of Strategic Partnerships and Applied Research. We started the year teleworking and continuing to host events and continuing education courses in a virtual setting. In July, we returned to the office, albeit in a different location in the heart of downtown Towson. And, while we've had to adjust the way we work and do business, we've been able to accomplish a lot during this year.
- We opened the StarTUp at the Armory
- We launched the Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadership Institute
- We celebrated impactful partnerships
- We brought together lifelong learners, all vaxed and masked
- We provided analysis on the pandemic-impacted economy
- We continued to deliver instructor led continuing education courses
Our year in review highlights these and more accomplishments, impacts, and stories from the past twelve months.
I want to thank you for taking the time to read this email and invite you to reach out with any questions about the Division and our work.
On behalf of my team at Towson University, stay safe and happy holidays. Wishing you a healthy and happy new year.
Daraius Irani, Ph.D. Vice President Strategic Partnerships & Applied Research
