The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Towson University provides learning opportunities to expand knowledge and gain insights into current events, and to access social and cultural activities. There are no entrance requirements, just bring your curiosity and love of learning. Membership is a requirement to register for fall/spring semester classes.
The fall semester of classes runs September 9–November 9 and includes a mix of online and in-person liberals arts courses—all delivered by leading subject matter experts.

Maryland gains 6,100 jobs. Unemployment steady at 2.8%.
Overall, Maryland still has experienced one of the most significant unemployment rate changes in the country over the past year, moving from 1.9 to 2.8 percent. Even with one of the largest rates increases, Maryland’s unemployment rate is still relatively low compared to the rest of the country.
