The Office of Inclusion and Institutional Equity invites you to register for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Summit.
The morning session will include a keynote address by Rasul Wright, Towson University Class of 2023, on Advancing Equity in Education in the United States, The Student Perspective.
Following the keynote, a DEI panel will discuss discrimination in housing and employment and how they impact upward mobility and equity in education. Panel members include:
• Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Demetria McCain, Esq
• Senior Vice President, Equity and Engagement, Estee Lauder, Nicole Monson, Esq
• Dr. Alexei Kolesnikov, Towson University, Mathematics and Undergraduate Research
• Dr. Becky Martinez, Author, Straddling Class in the Academy
After lunch, OIIE and critical campus partners will present the university's progress toward creating a more diverse and inclusive campus.
