Introducing the STRATUS Interface

The STRATUS interface is designed to make your life simpler. Its home page and menu options are tailored to your role. Displays are flexible based on your preference, and notifications alert you to news and tasks requiring your attention. You can use the search function to recall recent items or get to them via your customizable favorites list. Take a look at the STRATUS interface.

Chart of Accounts Map

We’ve shared the redesign before; now you can see how the Chart of Accounts will evolve from PeopleSoft to STRATUS. Numbers were kept as consistent as possible, with many chartfields directly correlating from one system to the next. A new Cost Center and reporting hierarchy will allow for tracking revenues and expenses at the lowest levels within a department, the highest levels within the university, and everywhere in between. The three-digit University Objective will help you track revenue and expenses according to university-wide goals and objectives.

Budget Planning is Live!

The Budget Planning System launched in early April, bringing sophisticated modeling and forecasting capabilities to help TU stay on a strong financial path. Its cloud foundation streamlines the divisional budget process by drastically reducing the transmission of manual spreadsheets—and the errors it can cause. It will also automate additional resource requests and consolidate roll ups for seamless tracking and reporting. The system is now available to budget office staff and DBOs.

STRATUS On the Go

STRATUS’s mobile-friendly design empowers users to complete tasks from anywhere, on any device. This is especially true for travelers. You can enter expenses and mileage as they occur, attaching photos of receipts directly from your mobile device.

Project Update

We've shared STRATUS's high-level design and configuration with more than 100 campus stakeholders for review and input. Now we're working alongside subject matter experts to carry out more detailed configurations. We anticipate finalizing configurations in late spring, testing them throughout the summer, and rolling out training prior to our fall 2021 go-live.
