Stratus

Progress is Underway!

STRATUS remains on schedule for an October 2021 go-live. The system's initial design and configuration are developed, and a first peek of the prototype has been shared with the project leadership team. We've received positive feedback and are now working alongside subject matter experts to carry out more detailed configurations, including state reconciliations and automated invoice processing. We look forward to sharing the system's features more broadly in the months to come.

Budget Planning System Slated for Spring Go-Live

The Budget Planning System has been shared with university and divisional budget officers. Its sophisticated modeling and forecasting capabilities provide robust insights for strategic scenario planning. It also offers faster reporting and reduces the number of manual spreadsheets involved in the budget process, streamlining TU’s annual budget development cycle. Budget Planning will go live for budget officers and key stakeholders in April 2021.

Travel & Expenses Takes Shape

Perhaps the most anticipated STRATUS feature, Travel & Expenses is emerging with new capabilities tailored to user needs. It will be mobile-friendly, enabling travelers to capture, log and submit expenses on the road while they're fresh in travelers' minds.

Streamlined Approval Processes Ahead

Great news: the state has granted approval for TU to use electronic signatures on procurement card forms in STRATUS! The decision paves the way for streamlined processes around monthly ProCard reconciliations. Submissions automatically route to appropriate approvers, with built-in notifications and tracking to make it easy to monitor approval status.
