First, I want to thank everyone who has signed up to volunteer for the Commencement exercises. For many of us who are not interacting with TU students day to day, we lose sight of the primary mission of the University. It is a momentous occasion for our graduates and it is a wonderful experience for us to be able to share in these moments. Second, as the fiscal year winds down, hopefully all of you have used up the majority of your vacation time. I cannot overemphasize how important it is to use this time to recharge and maybe reboot yourself on occasion. Finally, with year-end closing, it is imperative that timesheets are completed and approved in a timely fashion.

Leadership Development
Leadership is a hot topic for our private and public partners. Over the past two years, CPS conducted a series of team leader classes for the Maryland Department of General Services, emerging leadership training for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, and executive leadership academy programs for LifeBridge Health. Our newest venture is with MDOT-State Highway Administration. This year CPS will organize and conduct the SHA Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) designed for high-performing and mid to executive level employees of SHA. The full week program offers a modern curriculum on leadership, builds internal relationships, strengthens individual competencies, and supports SHA’s next generation of leaders. LEARN MORE
