In a blink of an eye, it’s summer! We had a terrific spring semester and while we’re getting ready for an equally exciting fall semester, we don’t want to skip over the summer too quickly. We have a great lineup of films and lectures this summer as part of the Osher Summer Series which kicked off on May 31 and runs through July. We’re also looking forward to seeing everyone at the Preview of Fall Classes which will take place on July 18. Please keep an eye on your mailbox and email inbox this summer as we keep you posted on what's happening here at Osher this summer and beyond. Membership renewal notices have been sent out and we hope you will be renewing your membership with us soon. We value each of our members and work hard to put together an enjoyable mix of courses, lectures, and additional programming for you. The fall catalog will be sent out in the coming weeks. You will notice that there are a few changes to registration. So many people have asked us about online registration and we are excited to have online registration as an option for our members for the fall semester. Information is included in this newsletter, in the catalog, and will be sent via mail/email to let you know more about online registration. We will host three information sessions for those who are interested in learning how our online registration system will work. We encourage you to learn more about online registration and to give it a try. In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying all of the great things summer has to offer. It’s my pleasure to be a part of such a great community of lifelong learners here at Osher.

With gratitude,

Membership Updates

As a membership organization, membership dues and tuition fees allow us to provide high-quality programming at an excellent value to you and your fellow participants.

• Membership fees for the upcoming membership year (July 1, 2019–June 30, 2020) will remain the same at $50 per person.

• Tuition fees will remain the same with one exception. Fees for unlimited four or eight-week courses will increase from $150 to $180 per semester. This slight increase will help us meet our budget goals.

Renewing your membership today ensures you are able to register for the 2019 Summer Series and for fall 2019 courses. Your membership also enables you to participate in book clubs, interest groups, and day trips. It also gives you access to many Towson University resources.
