Hey Spring Breakers!
It’s that week between the first and second sessions and while some of you are diligently reporting to your make-up classes this week, I know that many of you have packed your bags for sunnier climes and are living it up with your margaritas and your conga lines. Whether you are surfing in Ft. Lauderdale, hitting the Acapulco nightlife, hula-ing in Honolulu, or getting dizzy in Daytona Beach, I don’t want to hear about it when you get back to class. Whatever happens in all of those places, stays in all of those places. I do not want to see your faces (or worse!) on the next “Osher Gone Wild” video. I certainly don’t want to have to front you any bail money. When we say that Osher is for “mature audiences”, it is because we have a certain reputation to uphold! Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing you with your Bain-de-Soleil tans, your pookah shells, and even your Bo Derek braids next week when we start up classes again in Session II. See you then!
Stay safe and healthy,
Tracy Jacobs

Tour of the Mormon Temple
Tuesday, May 10, 2022 $79/per person
This is a rare chance to tour the Mormon Temple. The gold-spired Washington D.C. Temple is a well-known landmark along the Capital Beltway.
Closed in 2018 for extensive renovations, it was scheduled to reopen in 2020 but COVID altered that plan. Now, it will be open for visitors from late April to early June 2022 before it is rededicated in August. After that only Mormons may enter. This is a walking tour with many stairs and limited elevators.
Before our tour, we will have lunch at Regina Restaurant in Wheaton. Indicate your choice of Salmon Mediterrano with Pasta, Chicken Piccata with Pasta, or Ravioli Pomodoro (spinach and cheese ravioli) when registering.
The registration fee includes transportation, lunch (including tax and tip), and driver's tip. Bus will depart from the 7400 York Road rear parking lot at 10:45 a.m. and return at approximately 6:45 p.m.
Register securely with credit card.
