Andrew Coy is an educator, technologist, mentor, and maker interested in bridging the gap between education and technology. He's passionate about educational equity and dedicated to reinventing education to empower youth to take their place in the 21st century digital workplace.
Andrew currently heads the Digital Harbor Foundation, where he led efforts to save the closed-down South Baltimore Rec Center by reopening it as the Digital Harbor Foundation Tech Center, a youth-centered makerspace.
Previously, Andrew served in the Obama White House as a Senior Advisor on the Tech and Innovation Team in the Office of Science and Technology Policy. He also launched Initial Velocity, which helps others to develop and launch national projects.
