Celebrating our Tigers

President Mark Ginsberg

The final weeks of the 2023-24 academic year at Towson University were spent celebrating the incredible achievements of our students, staff, faculty and community at large.

Of course, this included our six commencement ceremonies, during which 3,037 Towson Tigers crossed the stage – signifying their hard work, talents and perseverance associated with receiving a college degree. This included 2,722 undergraduates, 610 master’s candidates and 44 doctoral hoodings, all of whom will go forth and make a positive impact on their communities with their skills as leaders for the public good.

We also recently gathered to recognize TU’s most high-achieving students who are recipients of many prestigious international academic awards, including 10 Fulbright nominees and the first-ever U.S. student to receive the McCall MacBain Scholarship. We celebrated many successful athletic seasons at our annual Golden Paws ceremony and also held banquets to honor our outstanding student and community leaders, campus organizations and extraordinary donors whose generosity supports more than 1,262 scholarships for Tigers.

Beyond these recognitions, each and every member of the TU community has made an important and consequential impact on our university this year. I am so proud to be a TU Tiger and cannot wait for all our future holds together.

Sincerely,

Signature
