Towson University takes students beyond the classroom with abundant opportunities for internships and collaborative research. Just ask Marketing Intelligence graduate student and Division I volleyball player Effrosyni “Fay” Bakodimou why she chose TU for her graduate studies. “My marketing internship in the TU Department of Athletics reinforced the decision for me,” recalls Bakodimou, who worked with department staff to broaden fan interaction and engagement, support sponsors and assist with event operations. She also worked as a tutor and helped organize a community volleyball camp at TU.

With a long-term goal to work in the marketing department of a multinational company, she is grateful for the opportunity to test her skills in a professional setting. “This degree will give me all the necessary tools to succeed in marketing,” she said.
