Rooms with Capture and Recording typically have one or more permanently mounted cameras installed. Newer room generations use computer-based software such as Panopto, WebEx, and Skype for Business provide a rich set of applications to do videoconferencing, distance education, live streaming, and lecture capture/recording. These rooms are shown as Universal.

Older designs may use hardware solutions like Mediasite to do capture and recording; they are listed with Mediasite or the hardware system name.

If the room doesn't have universal or hardware capture and recording, you may still be able to setup a portable camera, webcam, or plug in a laptop or phone with a camera. Discuss your needs well in advance with our Classroom and Computer Lab Technologies team by calling 410-704-TECH (8324).
