The Urban Environmental Biogeochemistry Laboratory is a collaborative effort between Towson University's departments of biology; chemistry; and physics, astronomy and geosciences to support student and faculty research in these departments and the environmental science program. The lab also welcomes outside users on either a collaborative or fee basis. Construction of the lab was supported with a $1.4M grant from the National Science Foundation.
