Following the Department of Computer & Information Sciences' fall retreat, a celebration was held to honor Dr. Chao Lu, who started with the department in 1990 and served as our department chairperson from 1999 through 2007 and again from 2011 through August 2016.  As a special surprise and because he loves to cook, Marcy and Heather created a personalized cookbook for Chao filled with recipes and personal messages of appreciation from the department members. Chao was presented with his cookbook while surrounded by his department family members.
